Hello everyone! My name is Tydeea, but you can call me Ty - no need to be formal, we’re all friends here - & I am the owner & founder of phnxSKN! First, I’d like to thank you all for visiting the website to learn a little more about our services & about me!

Here’s a little background for my inquisitive friends out there:

I am an East Coast Girl to the core - I was born & raised in South Philadelphia, where most of my family still resides & I spent the last decade of my life living in one of the greatest cities on earth, New York City. After some years in the fashion industry (read: burnout) I decided to hang up my stylist hat & allowed the the mantra of “do what you'll love, and you'll never work another day in your life” to lead my next steps; fourteen hundred miles, a degree and a few certifications later, my career as an Corrective SKNcare Specialist began in the city of New Orleans where I’ve been resurrecting & revitalizing SKN ever since!

Let’s get into these degrees, friends:

I am a Licensed Esthetician with a degree in Esthiology from The Aveda Institute in New Orleans. I am certified by The Gleaux Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in advanced esthetics services - including microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, microneedling and chemical peels. I am a PCA SKIN® Certified Professional, as well. My specialized education endeavors are anchored by my Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Rhetoric from The University of Pittsburgh.

Some cool facts about me? Well friends:

I love all things fitness! From yoga to pilates, bike rides around NOLA, to weight training, whatever it is, count me in! I loveeee to cook, it’s truly one of my favorite passions (minus the clean-up!). I also travel as often I as I can, making it a point to experience SKNcare rituals + routines around the world.
